Think I might stop using DLive for a while (it doesn’t seem to wanna recognize my feed anymore for a strange reason) and get back to doing streams on Youtube. Hopefully Restream won’t crash every few minutes while I try to read chat comments.
I'm an artist that's struggling to make herself known to the world. I work on webcomics, as well as do art for lesser known channels. I also look after and A.I. that likes to be dumb on the internet.

A livestream not done by me for once. I’ll be joining my pal Justinfinity, on an upcoming stream tonight as a special guest. It’ll be a nuzlocke play through of the original Pokémon Gold. It will be his first attempt at trying this challenge, so knowing the rules it’s either gonna go very poorly or very wild. Stream will be on his Twitch at: https://twitch.tv/justinfinity93, and will start at 5:30 PM MST/4:30 PM PST, we hope to see you there! :3

After a much needed break, regular art will been going back into production. Once I work on and finish the voting poll piece, I’ll be focusing on my original stuff. There will be a poll up for you to decide which one you’re most excited for. Some of them are still going through script processing, while others are just about ready to get their visual presence shown.
Speaking of which, been looking back on an earlier idea I shared last May, where I turned Broadway musicals into people. Instead of making a webcomic about them, I’ve been possibly thinking on maybe making a visual novel instead. I’ll probably have to hire people to help me out with some things if needed, such as backgrounds and voice acting; but those will come once I get most of the hard functions down myself, like writing (with a bit of help from my writer bf) and coding. This idea will be made if others are interested though, so if you want this project to happen, bring it to life by typing #VisualNovelbyCarlyH in the comments. :3

I want to apologize for the lack of art last month, but considering all the original stuff I'm planning in secret, why wouldn't I be?
During that month I've been busy with a bunch of things IRL, such as fostering dogs and what not, but also coming up with ideas for my Youtube and Bitchute. I was originally gonna make a commentary/discussion video on what I think about censorship, but I ended up scrapping it ‘cause it ended up with a lot of points that didn’t make any sense, as well as not provided a clear stance on which side I'm on, it really questioned my philosophy and due to not having a good clear narrative, I decided to discontinue it.
It’s unknown on what my actual first commentary would actually be. I have like a list of various topics I would really like to talk about, but when I do make it, it will be one where I’m actually showing clear points, rather than go neck deep into a subject that leaves me with nothing but confusion.
Kishti's new portraits are near total completion, I'm gonna try and see if I'll be able to finish them by the end of this week or two. Next time, If she ever asks for new sets, I'm gonna refrain myself from remaking everything, and only redo ones that I think need fixing. 6-7 months to make 16 sets, I'm a torture loving maniac, lol.
In the meantime, you can watch her latest video featuring the old cringey ones, where she even provides a shout out for me :3
Top 5 Relatable Sibling Characters by Editor
With the global pandemic that's still happening rn, it's apparently gotten bad in my state to the point where kids are eventually gonna miss their graduation ceremonies. Thankfully store raids have been getting less worse in terms of food stock, here's to hoping humanity won't go fully extinct.
Stay clean and positive everyone.

To anyone who's worried about the Coronavirus outbreak; try not to panic, but at least be cautious. Be sure to keep yourself clean, stock up on food and supplies, and don't be afraid to isolate away from the outside world. If you feel the slightest bit of illness, self-quarantine yourself if needed. It's just a few solutions, but its only the best we can do to prevent the spread. Be safe.

People have been asking me to make more voice reels for a while, so I put together three reels based on the machina sisters from the Steel Rebellion arc in Shadowverse. It was a lil challenging to get their tones exactly how they sounded in the game, but it was still a fun practice. :3
Tetra's Facade (A Shadowverse voice reel)
Mono's Purpose (A Shadowverse voice reel)
Aenea's Guilt (A Shadowverse voice reel)
Which sister was your favorite? Would you like to see me voice other characters from Shadowverse? Feel free to tell me what you think. :3

So it’s been roughly three weeks since the start of the new year. Friends mad at the latest gaming media for consumerism and lies, foster dogs had to be babysat for week, and of course a needy boyfriend crawling to me every once in a blue moon; but besides all that, I’ve been keeping myself busy with various stuff. So I’ll share what’s going on behind the scenes.
Kishti’s new editor portraits are now half-way done. Since it took about four months when it started, they’ll likely be done around the same length, maybe three months if lucky. (That is if I don’t have anything bothering me, or have any schedule changes that are to be noted.) Some of them still hold a lanky nature around the waist and arms might still be a little long, some portraits had to be re done with completely new poses from the ground up. One problem that has been bothering me the most is the eye placements, no matter what they’re either asymmetrical, non consistent, or placed in a way to where they’re too far or close to one another. Might have to resolve this issue by maybe doing a bunch of headshot sketches or something. By just looking at the comparison, you can really see the change in the body structure, especially around the thighs (she got extra thicc XD). I’m at least glad with the change that’s happening, really goes to show that the effort to improve has been worth it.
I’ve decided for this year I would need to take a step back from working on big projects like Gravity Rider, and work a bit more on character development. Throughout 2019, I’ve been constructing with three small concept projects; such as a role-play story involving characters based on broadway musicals, an horror anthology series similar to Twilight Zone and Tales from the Crypt, and I of course mentioned on doing a one-shot comic featuring the two OCs I showcased last month. I will be working on all three of these concepts from time to time, brainstorming ideas for them as I go along with my usual stuff. As of now the focus will be on one-shot; I’ve already worked on the first two reference sheets for the characters that are in it.
What I can share about lil series so far, is that it will involve a lot of sci-fi elements and is a bit of a homage to old school action shows like Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Power Rangers, etc. The bios of these characters will be on sites such as DeviantArt, Facebook, Tumblr, etc. One thing I’m pondering with is where I should host the one-shot; Smack-Jeeves has been giving me problems with setting up new posts, so I may upload it on another webcomic hosting site like Tapastic or something. Still have a lot to work with before managing stuff like that though, so there is no hurry.
Commissions are still open for grabs, but so far no contacts or messages since the first piece. Still have yet to find myself a part time job for the extra payments I’ll need; there is one particular position I might look into, but for now I gotta work a bit on providing care for my health before taking action. I am planning on selling another adoptables set to make, so that should help me out for a bit. All I could really do is to keep promoting my work and have people spread the word. :3

Since I did a Persona 2 piece in my latest upload, I'm sure there are gonna be some people wondering if I ever played 3-5, short answer is: ...no, I have yet to try them. Dunno exactly when I will, since I got a bunch of other titles I still haven't played yet, as well as new games for my Switch that I got for my B-day; While I’m here though, think I might as well do a lil retrospect on what I think about both Persona 1 & 2, and tell my overall thoughts on them, before I plan on getting into the better games.
Starting with Persona 1; It was an interesting look into see how the whole series began. Being originally based on the high school concept from SMT if, and working with the themes of the human subconsciousness and “multiple personas”. The story, does shares some similarities with certain Japanese media tropes (Stuck in an alternate reality of your home), but it’s almost expected for such a game like it. I’ll be honest that I didn’t get to play the Snow Queen route on my first play through, since it’s optional and not particularly canon(?). While gameplay is not much to scoff at in terms of age, it was nice to have two types of weapons that each of the characters can use. It also shows similar elements from the original SMT games, such as the contacting with demons and friending them to get free stuff (which I did too much of, that it would made me forgot about grinding levels for upcoming bosses, lol). Overall, while the game might not be something for everyone, it is a special look into how Atlus started their look into the human psyche, and have it be an overall theme they’ve started and kept going with.
Persona 2 is where things got better. Not only is it an actual sequel to the first game, but with a lot of improvements too. Both of the two parts (Innocent Sin and Eternal Punishment), include a look into how teenagers and adults face reality and and overcome their struggles, which is definitely something that makes it stand out from the other games. The story also give a sneak peak into how the shadow selves are created by the likes of Nyarlathotep, who’s the one behind the darker/eviler aspects of the human subsciousness (which is something I wish they could have hinted more in the later games, along with Philemon). I really enjoyed going through the persona fusion system in this game better, depending on how many cards you get from a demon (with the contract support), you’ll get some blank cards that you can exchange in the velvet room, for unobtainable arcanas such as Emperor, Empress, etc. I also thought the rumor system was an interesting concept as well, for depending on what you chose, it turns outcomes into good favors (like restaurants that also have weapon stores, opening new areas, etc.). The battle system, while taking away the two weapons option, the overall combat is more fun, and if you input certain elemental spells, you’d be given an option to do a strong fusion spell; which can reward your persona a mutation stat or skill if you use them a bunch of times. Persona 2 in itself is really under appreciated and is definitely one game I’d recommend Persona fans of 3-5 (or in such cases, old time classic RPG fans) to at least try.

Now with those out of the way; I’ve opened myself a RedBubble account, and have managed put together designs and pieces for an official merch store!
I’ll be adding more designs as I go along with regular things; there will be a certain amounts of pieces and designs that won’t be featured, due to copyright images that might be included onto some of them. If anyone wants a particular design in mind for a shirt, sticker, notebook, or such, I will put it on my Trello lists. So for now, if you’d like to obtain physical copies of my work, now it’s possible! :3
Hope you all look forward to a happy New Year~!
